A Kosher Safari Journey to the Heart of Africa

Tanzania is a land of dramatic landscapes, endless horizons, rich cultures, and some of the greatest concentrations of wildlife on Earth.
From lush forests and shimmering lakes to sweeping savannahs filled with roaming herds, each day reveals a new world of breathtaking beauty. Along the way, we will encounter Africa’s iconic wildlife in their natural habitat — majestic elephants, graceful giraffes, powerful lions, vast herds of wildebeest and zebras, and countless bird species.

We will also meet ancient tribes who have preserved their traditions for centuries, gaining insight into ways of life that remain deeply connected to nature and community. These encounters add powerful human stories to the natural wonders that surround us.

Day 1 Wednesday July 29, 2026 – Arrival in Tanzania | Arusha National Park

Upon arrival in Tanzania, we begin our adventure with a gentle introduction to safari life in Arusha National Park. This beautiful park combines rainforest, open grasslands, and mountain views, creating a perfect first encounter with African wildlife. Expect to see monkeys swinging through the trees, grazing giraffes, zebras, antelopes, and possibly even elephants.

Day 2 Thursday July 30, 2026 – Lake Manyara National Park

We travel west into the Great Rift Valley to Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its stunning scenery and rich biodiversity. The park’s landscapes shift from dense forests to open plains and the shores of the lake, attracting flamingos, hippos, elephants, and the famous tree-climbing lions.

Day 3 Friday July 31, 2026  – Ngorongoro Crater | Preparing for Shabbat

Today we descend into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, often called “Africa’s Garden of Eden.” This massive volcanic caldera forms a natural wildlife sanctuary where animals live year-round. Lions, rhinos, buffalo, zebras, and wildebeest roam freely in breathtaking density.
In the afternoon we return to our lodge to prepare for Shabbat, with time for relaxation, prayers, and a festive Shabbat dinner.

Day 4 Shabbat August 1st – A Peaceful Shabbat in Nature

Shabbat in Africa is a truly special experience. Surrounded by open skies and natural beauty, we enjoy a calm and uplifting day of rest, tefillah, and relaxation at the lodge, with time to reflect on the incredible journey so far.

Day 5 Sunday August 2, 2026 – Lake Eyasi | Ancient Tribal Encounters

We visit the remote Lake Eyasi region to meet the Hadzabe tribe, one of the last true hunter-gatherer communities in the world, followed by a visit to the Datoga people, known for their traditional dress and metalwork skills. These authentic encounters offer a rare glimpse into cultures that have remained unchanged for centuries.

Day 6 Monday August 3, 2026 – Maasai Village | Into the Serengeti

We journey toward the legendary Serengeti, stopping along the way at a traditional Maasai village. Here we learn about Maasai customs, family life, and ceremonial traditions, including the famous jumping dance.
In the afternoon we enter Serengeti National Park, where vast open plains stretch as far as the eye can see, dotted with wildlife at every turn.

Day 7 Tuesday August 4, 2026 – Full Day Safari in the Serengeti

A full day exploring one of the most famous wildlife regions on Earth. Depending on the season, we may witness massive migrating herds, dramatic predator activity, and countless unforgettable wildlife moments. Every game drive is different, and every hour brings new surprises.

Day 8 Wednesday August 5, 2026 – Farewell to the Wild | Return to Arusha

After a final morning safari, we transfer to the airstrip for a scenic flight back to Arusha, connecting onward for international departure, carrying home memories that will last a lifetime.
End of Tour.  Itinerary subject to change
