November 26 – December 10, 2025
Join AACI as we travel into the heart and soul of Asia. Starting off in Vietnam, cruise through dramatic karst scenery on an overnight boat tour of Ha Long Bay, step back into the world of the country’s last emperors, soak up the old-world charm of Hoi An and be awed by the endless energy of Ho Chi Minh City. In Cambodia, discover the country’s fascinating history and culture through the awe-inspiring temples of Angkor. Combining both countries, the Best of Vietnam and Cambodia Kosher Tour will open your eyes to the delights of Indochina and leave you awe-struck by these magical locations.
Day 1; Wednesday, November 26 – Hanoi
Pickup from airport and transfer to Hanoi where will have an orientation tour, including Hoan Kiem Lake, Ngoc Son Pagoda, and an hour-long cyclo ride.
Check-in to our hotel. Dinner at Chabad House which is within a short walking distance from our hotel.
Overnight in Hanoi
Day 2: Thursday, November 27 – Hanoi – – Ha Long
Breakfast at our hotel. We depart from Hanoi for the drive through the fertile plains of the Red River Delta to Ha Long City. Here we board our luxurious boat for an overnight cruise of this stunning Ha Long Bay, stopping along the way to visit the Sung Sot Stalactite cave and the beautiful Titop Island.
Enjoy a food demonstration of local cuisine on the deck. If its not kosher we shouldn’t mention it. Those brave enough can board a kayak and even swim in the Ha Long Bay.
Overnight and dinner on board boat provided by Chabad.
Day 3: Friday, November 28 – Ha Long
After breakfast & Tefilla we will participate in Tai Chi exercise. We will visit the unique Luon cave . considered as a heaven gate or a magic tunnel leading to a wonderland of water, mountains and life. The wind will ease your soul, the water will wash away your exhaustion, and the beauty of the lake inside Luon Cave will tell you many fairy tales. While doing these activities, you can also feel the cool atmosphere with the fresh air of the lake,and see by yourself the remains of fossil shells on the limestone cliffs, which is evidence for the forming process of Bo Hon Island. Back to the boat for brunch and the end of our cruise.
Transfer back to Hanoi. Visit the Old Quarter and then back to our hotel for Shabbat.

Day 4: Saturday, November 29:- Hanoi
Enjoy a restful Shabbat.
Tefilla and lunch at Chabad House
Optional walking tour in the afternoon to the nearby Flower Garden.
After Shabbat we will go to the old Quarter for the famous Water Puppet show, which recreates Vietnamese folklore and typical village life.
Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 5: Sunday, Novembre 30 – Hanoi – Sa Pa
After breakfast travel to Sa Pa.
Sa Pa, located in the northwest of Vietnam, is a breathtaking travel destination known for its majestic mountain views, terraced rice fields, and vibrant ethnic minority cultures. Nestled in the Hoang Lien Son mountain range, it offers stunning trekking routes, including the famous Fansipan Mountain, known as the “Roof of Indochia.
In the afternoon start our tour in Lao Chai and Ta Van villages which offer a stunning escape into nature and local culture. These villages are home to ethnic minorities like the Hmong, Dao, and Giay people, and they feature breathtaking terraced rice fields.
Overnight and dinner at in Sa Pa.
Day 6: Monday, December 1 – Sa Pa
After breakfast we will take the cable car to Fansipan Mountain. The Fansipan Legend cable car allows visitors to reach the peak in just 15-20 minutes. The summit offers panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys, often covered in mist. Return towards Sa Pa and stop at Ham Rong Flower Garden to view the magnificent flora.
In the afternoon we will have the opportunity to take an herbal bath at a spa. Afterwards we will walk around Sa Pa town and visit a local market.

Day 7, Tuesday, December 2 – Sa Pa – Hanoi – Da Nang – Hoi An
After breakfast at hotel. Drive from Sa Pa to Hanoi airport for afternoon flight to Da Nang. Transfer to hotel in Hoi An for check-in.
In the evening, we will take an enchanting lantern boat trip on the Hoai River when you will be able to release a lantern and make a wish!

Day 8: Wednesday 3 December: Hoi An – Ba Na – Hoi An
After breakfast drive from Hoi An to Ba Na.
We will ride the Ba Na Hills cable car, which is the longest single-wire cable system in the world delete. In Ba Na Hills enjoy a visit to the Golden Bridge (a 150- meter pedestrian bridge), the Flower Garden, and Fantasy Park, the world’s largest indoor amusement park.
In the afternoon, we visit Hoi An Old Town Quarter, an exceptionally well-preserved example of a south-east Asian trading port dating from the 15th to the 19th century. Then on to the Japanese bridge (an impressive piece of architecture built by the Japanese), and Phuc Kien Pagoda, dedicated to the goddess of the sea and protector of the sailors.
We will join a lantern class and make a lantern that you can take home as a souvenir!

Day 9: Thursday, December 4: Hoi An – Da Nang – Ho Chi Minh
Tefilla and breakfast at hotel. Transfer to airport for flight from Da Nang to Ho Chi Minh.
Our tour of Ho Chi Minh includes its most famous sites such as Presidential Palace, Post Office, Notre Dame Cathedral, Ben Thanh Market, and China Town to view the Thien Hau Pagoda, a temple founded by Chinese immigrants to pray for maritime peace.
Check in to our hotel.
Dinner at Chabad House. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh.
Day 10: Friday, December – Ho Chi Minh
Tefilla and breakfast at hotel. We will travel from Ho Chi Minh City to Cu Chi tunnels, where we watch a short introductory video showing how the tunnels were constructed, then spend the next hour exploring the maze of tunnels.
Return to Ho Chi Minh to visit the War Remnants Museum, dedicated to world peace. Then back to hotel to prepare for Shabbat.

Day 11, Saturday, December 6 – Ho Chi Minh
Breakfast at hotel.
Enjoy a restful Shabbat. Lunch and dinner in Chabad house.
In the afternoon there will be an optional walking tour around the city.

Day 12, Sunday, December 7 – Ho Chi Minh – Ben Tre – Ho Chi Minh
After breakfast transfer to Ben Tre. We will take a boat on the world famous Mekong River to reach the Four Islands.
The tour will begin on a sampan (flat-bottomed wooden boat) to take us downstream around a floating fish village on Tien River (name given to the section of the Mekong’s mainstream in Vietnam) and see the Four Islands called Long – Lan – Qui – Phung. Cruising to Xep Canal by sampan, you will get a stunning view of what used to be a jungle. We will drive on village paths on a Xe Lam, the three-wheeled vehicle which was the main means of transportation during the 60s. We will visit a local garden and drink a cup of warm honey tea, while enjoying tropical fruits. There will be a stop at a local workshop where you can learn how to make coconut candy and fiery rice wine, and taste some candies, and rice wine with the family.
We will enjoy sitting on a rowing boat in a small creek with beautiful water coconut palm trees along both sides of the creek, and then walking or biking between tropical fruit orchards. A sampan drives us back to our hotel.

Day 13: Monday, December, 8 – Ho Chi Minh – Siem Reap, Cambodia
After breakfast transfer transfer to airport for flight to Siem Reap.
Our tour will include the South Gate of Angkor Thom, Bayon Temple, Baphuon Temple, Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas Temple, Elephants Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King.
The South Gate of Angkor Thom, the capital of Angkor until the 15th century, served as the religious and administrative center of the vast and powerful Khmer empire. It is a microcosm of the universe embracing the Bayon Temple with its giant stone faces – one of the most recognizable images connected to classic Khmer art.
After dinner at the hotel, we will enjoy the Apsara Dance Show at the Morakot Angkor Restaurant.
Overnight in Siem Reap.
Day 14: Tuesday, December 9 – Siem Reap
After breakfast we will visit the amazing Banteay Srei and Banteay Samre temples.
In the afternoon we will tour the most famous of all the temples on the plain of Angkor – Angkor Wat. This temple complex covers 81 hectares and is comparable in size to the Imperial Palace in Beijing. Its distinctive five towers are emblazoed on the Cambodian flag and the 12th century masterpiece is considered by art historians to be the prime example of classical Khmer art and architecture. Enjoy wonderful sunset from the top of Pre Rup Temple.
Overnight and dinner at in Siem Reap.
Day 15: Wednesday,December 10 – Siem Reap – Saigon
After breakfast we will visit the Tonle Sap floating village, and this will then be followed by a Siem Reap city tour.
Late lunch or early dinner then transfer to airport for departure flight.
