11 June 2019 - 22 June 2019
Locations: Catania - Sicily, Greece, Malta, Palermo, Rome

Our Amazing Ports of Call: Souda, Crete, Naples, Rome, Palermo, Catania, Malta

Join us on the new Mano ship, The Crowne Iris, a modern and renovated cruise liner that is almost three times larger than the former Golden Iris. With 5 restaurants, 2 swimming pools, Jacuzzis, health club and spa, amazing entertainment, casino and the delicious kosher food that so many of us have so enjoyed in the past

Souda is a port of Chania, the most beautiful of Crete’s cities that combines an impressive mosaic of Venetian and Turkish history and architecture.
Rome03Rome wasn’t built in a day, but you can expect Italy’s most popular destinations to charm you in one. Rome is a fascinating fusion of old and new, from the lost empires and historical places to modern treasures and mouth-watering Italian cuisine. The staggering range of landmarks in Rome and the glories of Renaissance architecture make it one of the most visited cities in the world.  The Jewish presence in Rome reaches back many centuries.  We will experience the Jewish quarter with its charming narrow streets, the famous Jewish catacombs, the arch of Titus, Moses by Michelangelo and so much more.
Palermo, Italy is conservative and traditional; it is the homeland of the Italian Mafia, and it presents a cultural, architectural and fascinating mosaic. Attractions include the alleyways in the town of Monreale, the valley of the “Conca d’Oro” (Golden Conch Shell), the Norman cathedral, the streets and squares of the city of Palermo.
Catania is a lively city on the island of Sicily, and it is one of the most beautiful tourist sites in Italy. Full of attractions, historical and archaeological sites and Mount Etna, one of the world’s largest and active volcanoes and, after the Alpine peaks, the highest mountain in Italy.
luzzu-116167_1280Valletta the capital of the island of Malta is a bustling port city in which still maintains the atmosphere of the Middle Ages with displays of vast cultural and architectural riches. It is understandable why UNESCO has declared it to be a World Heritage Site. Valletta – which is considered to be the smallest capital city in the EU – is named in honor of its founder, the Grand Master of the Order of St. John, Jean de la Valette.
Crete – Heraklion is called ‘An Island Blessed By The Gods’ and is the capital of Crete and one of the Mediterranean region’s most fascinating and vibrant cities. It is full of places to discover full of past history and great events that reflect its location at the crossroads of three continents.

Rabbi Shai Finkelstein of Kehilat Nitzanim in Baka, Jerusalem, which is the largest shul in the area, will be our esteemed scholar-in-residence to provide interesting and stimulating lectures.
