Arrive Bangkok at 15:00 and transfer immediately upon arrival to hotel. After check-in, start our tour with an iconic foot massage. we have a night tour and visit the Flower Market (open 24 hours!), Khaosan Road, the tourist street of Bangkok, Afterwards, enjoy dinner at Chabad House.

Return to hotel.
Overnight Bangkok.

Monday 24 Feb, 2020

Our guided sightseeing of today will take us for a drive across the city into the inner core to see the contrast between old and new Bangkok. Visit to the outstanding temples (Wat) such as – Wat Pho famous for its Reclining Buddha, Wat Trimitr, and the world’s largest Golden Buddha believed to be about 700 years old. Then visit the Royal Grand Palace, the most important landmark in Bangkok. It is famous for its impressive architecture and buildings. Explore the magnificent Wat Phra Kaew, with the revered Emerald Buddha, carved from a single block of jade, and other key attractions, such as the Coronation Throne Hall, Royal Reception Hall, Royal Funeral Hall, the Golden Chedi, and the Royal Pantheon. Today we will have our first head and shoulder massage!

End the day with a sunset cruise on the Chao Praya River.

Breakfast at hotel.

Morning drive to Damnern Saduak floating market. We will see the market by long-tail boat, which provides the most up close and personal experience and a chance to taste colorful and flavorful tropical fruits from the region.

We then continue to drive to Kanchanaburi where we will visit the famous Bridge on the River Kwai, which was part of the notorious death railway. After a short train ride we will visit the War Museum and Kanchanaburi War Cemetery, where Dutch, British and Australian prisoners of war are buried.  Transfer back to Bangkok for dinner at Chabad House.

Return to hotel. Overnight at Bangkok.

Transfer from hotel to airport for flight to Chiang Rai. Upon arrival we immediately begin exploring this magical area. We start off with a visit to the Wat Rongkhun (White Temple) Thailand’s most unique Temple, which is a Bhuddist temple but with modern surrealist twists. On to the Baan Dam (Black House) another modern structure among ancient temples. Standing in contrast to the white temple, we find many spooky and dark corners to explore.

We will then continue on to Union Hill Tribes Center. Here we get a hands-on experience as to how the hill tribes of the area live,

including Yao, Akha, Lahu, and the Long Neck Tribe. Transfer to hotel after a long and exciting day!

Morning visit to Doi Tung Mae Fah Luang Botanic Garden. This garden of mostly temperate flowers was built over 10 acres of land in accordance with a Thai Royal’s wish to give Thai people who have never traveled overseas an opportunity to enjoy a temperate flower garden. Continue to Mae Sai, the northernmost town of Thailand next to Myanmar border. Visit border market – if you love shopping and negotiating for some great bargains then the market at Mae Sai is the place for you.

Then we drive to the Golden Triangle – where the borders of Thailand, Myanmar (formerly Burma) and Laos meet up at the Mekong River. In the past this was the center of the opium trade run by the local hill tribes. Here we board for a motor boat ride along the scenic Mekong River. At the end of our river cruise we visit the ancient fortified city of Chiang Saen situated on the banks of the Mekong River.

After check-out, transfer to Chiang Mai via Mae Kajan hot spring, and enjoy a quick dip of our feet. Proceed to visit Doi Suthep hill top Temple, with a special cable car, and see this beautiful golden structure including views of the valley below.  Continue to check-in at the Shangri-La Hotel, Chiang Mai.

After tefillah and Shabbat lunch, spend the day at leisure in our beautiful hotel and have a chance to rest up after a busy week or join us on a lovely walking tour of the area.

Sunday 1 Mar, 2020

Proceed to Mae Thaman Elephant Camp, to see elephants in their natural habitat and learn more about the local Thailand Elephant.
After our visit, we continue to a special ride on a Bamboo Raft along Mae Tang River and see the exceptionally green foliage.

Next is a highlight of the trip-a zip-line adventure through the rain forest! Enjoy the thrill of Zip-lines, sky-bridges and abseiling amidst the natural beauty of the ancient Thai rain forest.
Tonight we have a special evening ahead of us; after a full dinner we will partake in a kosher version of a Khan Toke Dinner (fruits only) and show. As you enjoy your meal, you will be entertained by a selection of northern cultural performances including the charming Ram Dab (Thai Sword Dance), Fon Thiean (Thai Candle Dance), and Ram Wong (Group Dance).

Transfer from hotel to airport for flight to Phuket.
After arrival in Phuket, we immediately begin our tour of the world’s most beautiful beaches. See the white sand and crystal clear waters of Patong Beach, Karon Beach and Kata Beach. We will visit the Island’s three bay view points, and the floating Sea Gypsy Village. We finish our day with a stop at a Pearl factory for some shopping!

Tuesday 03 Mar, 2020

Today we will venture out of Phuket toward the region of Phang-Nga. First stop will be the Rubber Plantation to learn about the region’s main former source of income. We continue through the beautiful countryside, and arrive at the pier to embark on a long-tail boat to take us to James Bond Island (Khao Phing Khan). We will tour around the island and enjoy relaxing and swimming. On the way we stop at Koh Panyee, inhabited by descendants of two families whose community is built on stilts.  Return to pier and en route back to Phuket to visit the Cashew Nuts Factory.

Evening dinner at hotel and FantaSea show. Phuket FantaSea Show, or Fantasy of a Kingdom, is a Thai cultural show infused with cutting-edge technology and state-of-the-art show elements.

Wednesday 04 Mar, 2020
Breakfast at hotel.

Departure from pier for some island hopping including snorkeling! Continue to Bida Islands, Loh Samah Bay, Pileh Bay & Viking Cave to experience crystal clear waters. After lunch enjoy free time to explore the surroundings. Depart from the islands back to Phuket.

Thursday 05 Mar, 2020

We bid farewell to paradise and make our way to Bangkok and transfer from Suvarnabhumi Airport to MBK Shopping Center, an 8-story-tall shopping center with unending shops. Even if nothing is purchased, this is still a site to see. Our day ends with a visit to the Siam Ocean World, the largest aquarium in South East Asia, including its ocean tunnel.

Continue to farewell dinner at Chabad House and transfer to Bangkok Airport for our flight home at 00:20, and land in Tel Aviv at 6:40 on Friday, March 4, 2020. Welcome home!
