ITINERARY

Sunday 27 Aug:

Depart: Tel Aviv at 21:00 

Arrival: Tiblisi International Airport and transfer to hotel for overnight.

Monday 28 Aug:
Kakheti Region
In the morning departure to Kakheti wine region, where we visit Sighnaghi the medieval city currently the city-museum, which is located on the hill and over looks Alazani Valley. The city is still surrounded by the wall that was constructed at the end of the 18th century, during the reign of Erekle II. We will visit a local family homestead for traditional folk show, providing light drinks. Return to Tbilisi for dinner in kosher restaurant followed by evening panoramic tour including cable car lift up to Narikala for a nice view of Tbilisi at night.

Overnight (breakfast/lunch/dinner included).

Tuesday 29 Aug:
Mtskheta/Ananuri/Gudauri

In the morning depart to the former capital of Georgia, the small town of Mtskheta, located on the junction of the Mtkvari and Aragvi rivers. Continue to Zhinvali reservoir, including visit to Zhinvali Dam and Ananuri architectural complex (16-17th centuries) alongside Georgian Military Highway. Afterwards transfer to Gudauri, a small settlement in a ski resort for kosher dinner.  Overnight (breakfast/lunch/dinner included).

Wednesday 30 Aug:
Kazbegi/Gudauri + Jeep Adventure

In the morning drive to Kazbegi – the main town of mountainous Khevi region by 4×4 vehicles for a jeep tour. We will drive up through beautiful valleys and woodland to see the beautiful sites located at an altitude of 2170m. If weather permits, we may catch a glimpse of one of the highest glaciers in the Caucasus – Mt. Kazbegi (5047m). Then continue to Dariali Gorge located close to Georgian/Russian border and enjoy the impressive beauty of wild mountains. Continue to Sno and Juta villages for more memorable impressions.

Drive back to Gudauri for Kosher dinner and Folk show
Overnight (breakfast/lunch/dinner included).

Thursday 31 Aug:
Tbilisi city tour and departure

In the morning depart to Tbilisi. Upon arrival, we will visit Glory of Georgia, the monument by famous Georgian sculptor Zurab Tsereteli, that reflects historical chronicles of Georgia. The monument is located on the hill overlooking Tbilisi Sea (reservoir of the city). Continue to city center for sightseeing tour, including old town and historical highlights: Abanotubani – sulfur bath district, synagogue, Shardeni street.   Visit the Ortachala Hydroelectric station. Finish tour with visit to Mtatsminda Park (funicular) and enjoy panorama of whole of Tbilisi from observation wheel.

Dinner in kosher restaurant. After dinner transfer to airport/departure

Cancellation between June 1st-June 30th, 2017: 50% of total package
Cancellation from October 01 to day of departure: 100%
