AACI’s 24th Cruise

Enjoy 9 days on the Costa Magica, a floating city at sea cruising the amazing Norwegian Fjords, a true wonder of the world, as well as 2 full days in Amsterdam, one of Europe’s greatest cities, filled with culture and Jewish sites.

All inclusive: Flights, hotel, meals, tours, tips, transfers and more – no extras

fjiordsThe Norwegian Fjords is located in an area of western Norway that cuts into tall mountains, with cascading waterfalls and glaciers that never melt, creating scenes of wonder and incredible beauty. The Fjords mystique are enhanced by sparsely-populated, quaint villages which we will visit along with the surrounding regiamsterdamons.

Amsterdam, from its enchanting canals to world-famous museums and historical sites, is one of the most romantic and beautiful cities in Europe. Visiting the Anne Frank House and other Jewish sites of this city will enrich the knowledge of our heritage. We will also visit the famous Rijksmuseum (Dutch National Museum) dedicated to art and history of the Netherlands. Finally, no trip to Amsterdam would be complete without taking a cruise on the beautiful canals of the city.

Our home-away-from-home will be the beautiful Costa Magica, a cruise liner whose design and artwork is dedicated to the glory of Italy. The Magica has 1,358 cabins – many with private balconies. Among the many facilities at your disposal will be 4 restaurants, 11 bars (including a Cognac & Cigar Bar), 1,300 sq.m. Health & Wellness Center with a gym, treatment rooms, a sauna and Turkish bath, 5 Jacuzzis, 4 pools (including one with a retractable roof), a multi-purpose sports area, and outdoor jogging track. Magnificent evening shows will take place in a three-story theater. In addition, a library, casino, disco, internet point, shopping center, and 5,500 works of art from the prestigious Brera Academy of Milan will keep you busy. Our freshly-made Glatt Kosher meals will be prepared by our own Kosher Chef and the ship’s culinary team to provide a truly festive dining experience each and every day! The team will be supervised by a Rav Machshir and a team of mashgichim provided by KosherSea under the supervision of Rav Ifrach. Breakfast, packed lunches for land excursions, tea rooms and elaborate Shabbat meals will round out the experience, ensuring a wonderful culinary experience.

Rav Chayim Soloveichik, our scholar-in-residence will ensure that we have a beautiful Shabbat experience on board, with davening, zmirot, and fascinating lectures throughout.

Rabbi Chayim Soloveichik is the Rav of Kehillat Ohr Shalom in Ramat Bet Shemesh, Israel and the Rabbinical Director and co-founder of Lem’aan Achai, a leading local community service and chesed organization in Bet Shemesh. He has been teaching students in Yeshiva Reishit Yerushalayim since making Aliyah and is also the Mashgiach Ruchani at Yeshivat Nefesh Hatalmid a vocational Yeshiva high school in Kiryat Gat. Additionally, Rabbi Soloveichik lectures at Bet Avichai where his lectures help people connect on a deeper level to Torah and Eretz Yisrael.

Before making Aliyah, Rabbi Soloveichik was the assistant Rabbi at the Young Israel of Staten Island, where he worked with Rabbi Jay Marcus until he was invited to start a Yeshiva High School in Hamilton, Ontario. There he inspired Talmidim with his passion for learning and love for Eretz Yisrael. Although Rabbi Soloveichik left Hamilton almost 20 years ago, he maintains a close connection to many of his former students.
Rabbi Chayim Soloveichik (son of Rav Ahron Soloveichik) and his wife, Pircha (Abramoff from Toronto) and their family (2 of whom who currently serve in the IDF) made Aliyah in 1997 from Hamilton, Ontario.
The trip will be fully staffed and escorted by AACI Executive Director David London and his team.

AACI is proud to offer this trip as an all-inclusive package that includes RT flights and transfers (groups departing from Israel) hotel, cruise, all tips (on land and sea), all meals, land tours, scholar-in-residence, wine on Shabbat and an unlimited, non-alcoholic drink package aboard ship.
